About the founder
Founded in 1948 by Thomas James McCabrey, the business began as a small motorbike and bicycle sales and repair shop in the heart of Lurgan. Built on hard work, expert craftsmanship, and a genuine passion for cycling, the shop quickly became a trusted name within the local community.
In 1970, Tommy’s son Ronnie joined the business, helping to expand the shop and continue the family tradition of quality service and reliable advice. Over the decades, generations of customers returned for their first bikes, repairs, and cycling essentials, making the shop a well-known part of local life.
The values established by Thomas James McCabrey remain at the centre of the business today — offering dependable products, honest customer service, and expert cycle knowledge backed by decades of experience in the industry.
